When it comes to marketing, I love how Apple does it. I love how they build their presence in the market. I love how they ‘ditch’ social media, yet are still able to stay on top of the game. I also love how they use marketing to showcase to the people their products’ quality and innovation—and people eventually buy them after being convinced through it.
Every single time I see advertisements or content from Apple, I watch them till the end. At the same time, I keep thinking of Steve Jobs. I believe it is he the maestro who orchestrated the foundation layers of what Apple is today. I’m not only talking about bringing the company, the product and innovation to a whole new level, but also the marketing side of it. As I sit here in Shah Alam, Malaysia, the heart of my daily blogging endeavours, I find myself drawn to the profound influence that Steve’s marketing philosophy has had on my own passion for marketing strategy.
I’m not an iPhone user now, not yet. But I’ve been using a MacBook Pro since 2012. I’m also an iPad user since 4 years ago. I used to own an iPod too. And, all my family members are using iPhones. I guess it is a matter of time before I jump ship and use the iPhone soon.
From my experience of using a Mac, it’s way simple and super easy. The screen is extremely lively with this different level of high resolution that other devices couldn’t even come closer to. It must be one of many things that Steve conjured with his belief when it comes to being serious even with a small detail as the ultimate sophistication. I’ve tried other laptops before. The experience was good, but not as good as what a Mac offers.
